Objev nových účinných látek v extraktech z Ginkgo biloba?

Nedávné studie odhalily výrazné rozdíly v obsahu proanthokyanidinů (PAC) mezi různými produkty s extraktem Ginkgo biloba dostupnými na německém trhu. Tyto rozdíly jsou důsledkem odlišných výrobních procesů. Ačkoli dosud nebylo stanoveno, zda a do jaké míry PAC přispívají k celkové farmakologické nebo klinické účinnosti extraktů z ginkga, nelze vyloučit potenciální dopad na údajné přínosy různých obsahů v PAC. Hodnocení kvality různých extraktů z ginkga tak v budoucnu může zahrnovat i PAC.
